I am a filmmaker, programmer, performer, and born-and-raised Chicagoan who has lived in New York state and the country of Spain. Bilingual, queer, and proudly black, I am passionate about expressing my love of film through elevating the voices of minority and underrepresented groups. Over the last decade I have worked hard to live out these values through taking on crucial responsibilities with IATSE and indie productions, organizing film programs, curating film festivals, writing, and performing. I am always up for a challenge and love being stretched to new lengths. Remaining stagnant is not how I move through life because there is so much to experience. So much to capture. So much to share.
